Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Data Center Construction Manager to lead field coordination in La Porte or South Bend, IN. Roles require 5 days on-site with potential overtime, managing GC and vendor teams to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of construction PM experience, data center hyperscale builds, and strong contract oversight. PMP/RCDD are a plus, with comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Greenfield to full construction and fit-out of existing buildings.
• Experience working with general contractors and 3rd parties.
• Able to manage construction contracts and enforce them.

• Safety focused, detail oriented, able to operate in the weeds.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Job description

**This position requires being on site 5 days/week**

Job Title: Data Center Construction Manager

Location: 3 openings in La Porte, Indiana; 3 openings in South Bend, Indiana

Shift- Monday-Friday onsite all 5 days - Overtime possible

Contract Duration: 18 months+

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years of Construction Project Management experience with a focus on site safety
• Experience with Data Center builds from scratch - hyperscale and hyper speed
• Experience with greenfield through full construction, as well as fitting out existing buildings
• Experience working with and managing general contractors & 3rd parties
• Able to manage construction contracts- knows the contracts inside and out and can ensure project is sticking to them
• Ensure all is happening per the drawings/schedule/contract, and on time – can review drawings and even make recommendations
• Safety focused, detail oriented, able to get in the weeds, team player, independent
• OSHA 30

Day-to-Day Summary:

The Senior Construction Manager will take lead in assisting the Program Management team to help administer and coordinate the General Contractor and Vendor Partner day-to-day activities in the field including managing and coordinate the flow of information, control costs, process change orders, help manage and control the overall construction progress, monitor the safety programs, and verify that the completed work is constructed to a quality level consistent with the requirements of the construction documents.

Compensation:

$70/hr to $90/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
