Job summary

Equinix in Dallas seeks a Senior Construction Project Manager within the Global Design and Construction team, delivering over 70 projects globally per year with >$2B capex. Leads day-to-day activities, mentors junior staff, and makes tactical decisions to meet schedules and budgets.

The role coordinates internal Design, Procurement, Operations, Security and IT/Network teams and external vendors, driving safety, quality and compliance in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, construction project management or related field.
• Typically 10+ years of experience in construction project management for critical infrastructure (data center, bio-tech, etc).
• Deep understanding of MEP for mission critical environments.
• Role based in Dallas, TX with in-office/on-site presence required at least 3 days/week.
• Customer focus, self-motivation, flexibility, and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple data center projects or a single larger data center construction project.
• Leads by example on safety, standards and culture.
• Manages project progress, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Ensures projects meet or exceed company expectations.
• Oversees risk registers and contract administration.
• Leads internal stakeholders from concept to business approval and directs external vendors.
