Job summary

Google seeks a seasoned Program Manager to lead large-scale data center projects from inception to completion, coordinating stakeholders across offices, time zones, and hemispheres. You will manage design, development, construction, and commissioning of data center facilities, including power distribution, cooling, controls, and safety systems.

The role requires delivering on schedule and budget while navigating ambiguity and driving efficiency with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in design, development, and construction projects for data centers or mission critical industries.
  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data center projects from inception through to completion.
  • Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility.
  • Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer needs.
  • Maintain responsibility from construction to deployment.
  • Resolve highly critical issues within organization while maintaining adherence to project timelines and costs.
