Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex data center construction projects. You will plan requirements with internal customers and drive programs through full lifecycles, communicating risks and trade-offs to executives and engineers alike.

You will oversee scheduling, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize efficiency, cycle times, and on-time delivery across multiple campuses in North and South America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• 5 years of experience in data center construction, leading cost management, project controls or cost estimation
• 5 years of experience working with construction programs/projects
• Experience with cost management, cost planning and estimation, negotiation, project procurement

Responsibilities

• Lead the alignment of schedules and funding timelines across current and expanding capacity delivery within the subregion
• Provide schedule oversight across all projects in the subregion with cross-functional teams
• Be the primary interface for stakeholders on schedule controls, funding matters, and program health
• Tailor communications to drive understanding and inform key decisions
• Identify process breakdowns and lead standardized processes for schedule controls across NA/SA region
