Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a Data Center Construction Project Manager to serve as Owner’s Rep for critical data center facilities in Richmond, VA. You will lead construction projects, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with contractors to meet design standards and project objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in data center construction, familiarity with retrofits and live facility work, and strong vendor management and communication skills to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred; experience in data center construction and owner’s rep roles is a plus.
• 10+ years of data center construction experience, including retrofits, upgrades, and live facility work.
• Familiarity with design processes for building systems and budgeting expertise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain liaison with contractors and vendors to manage day-to-day activities impacting project delivery.
• Ensure project responsibilities are met by contractors and vendors on the project.
• Manage greenfield, brownfield, upgrades, and retrofits of data centers.
