Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Owner's Rep - Construction Cost Controls Director in Richmond, VA to lead cost control for critical data center facilities.

You will manage budgets, forecasting, scheduling, and earned value across multiple projects, coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. This role requires 10+ years in project controls, strong leadership, and travel to sites as needed; a PMP/PM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project financial controls on data center/construction projects.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certifications; PMP/ PMI-SP a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Primavera P6 and Salesforce.
• Strong client-relations, communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost control, forecasting, change management and earned value across multiple data center sites.
• Lead weekly and monthly meetings with stakeholders, maintaining clear communications.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, cash flow analyses and reporting.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and ensure fiduciary responsibility.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and company standards.
