Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager to lead data center construction projects, overseeing PMs, superintendents, and field teams. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and alignment with customer expectations across multiple sites.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/utility/data center construction, with proven leadership, financial acumen, and travel between project locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience, preferably within electrical, underground utility, data center, or mission-critical construction.
• Minimum 5 years of construction management or operational leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project financial management, including budgets, forecasts, cost-to-complete, revenue, margin, and labor productivity.
• Ability to travel between assigned project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to Project Managers, Superintendents, General Foremen, and other project leadership.
• Maintain regular communication with project teams regarding safety, schedule, manpower, cost, quality, and customer expectations.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently implemented across projects.
• Promote accountability and a results-driven culture throughout project operations.
• Maintain visibility of project scope, schedule, budget, manpower, equipment, materials, and milestones.
• Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies with project leadership.
• Develop and maintain visibility of manpower requirements across all projects.
