Job summary

KALCON is seeking a Construction Manager (Owner's Representative) in Phoenix, AZ to coordinate, manage, and report on construction activities for mission-critical facilities. The role requires overseeing schedule, costs, and technical coordination across stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.

The successful candidate will bring a 5–10 year track record in commercial/industrial or data-center construction, strong MS Office/Project skills, and a PMP/CCM/PE is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM, Electrical Eng, or related field.
• 5-10 years of commercial/industrial construction or mission-critical project experience.
• PMP, CCM, or PE license is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site construction oversight for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP activities across data center campus buildings.
• Review and validate the GC's construction schedule, forecasts, CPM updates, and look-ahead plans.
• Coordinate weekly schedule meetings with GC, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and vendors.
• Manage OFCI equipment lifecycle including scheduling, logistics, delivery oversight, inspection, and installation tracking.
• Coordinate commissioning schedules and align with construction progress and readiness.
• Oversee owner-directed vendor schedules and tenant infrastructure alignment.
• Review change orders for cost impact and documentation quality.
• Provide weekly progress reports and risk analysis to owner leadership.
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and logs.
