Job summary

iLocatum in Vernon, TX is looking for a Project Executive to lead large-scale data center projects. You will own project performance, contracts, client relations, budget, and schedule with travel to project sites.

This role requires hands-on leadership and strong safety and quality enforcement. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of contracting experience, a track record on $100M+ data center programs, and a proven ability to manage complex teams and stakeholder expectations while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of general contracting experience.
• Experience leading multiple data center projects valued at $100 million or more.
• Strong working knowledge of contract terms and legal provisions affecting project profitability.
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage contracts on behalf of the company with project owners.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management and clients.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multi tasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to recruit, build, and motivate a project team to exceed project goals.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships that generate future work.

Responsibilities

• Lead project acquisition efforts by using industry contacts to generate leads.
• Participate in the RFP process and support contract negotiations as needed.
• Develop budgets and schedules with the pre-construction team and lead turnover meetings.
• Assemble the project team and oversee turnover meetings between pre-construction and project team.
• Ensure full understanding of and compliance with contract terms and monitor project performance.
• Oversee accounts receivable, financial forecasting, and P&L for each project.
• Support Lean and Last Planner processes on projects.
• Champion the project safety program and maintain regular client communications.
