Job summary

Tom Trese seeks a Project Executive – Data Center in Vernon, TX to provide leadership for project performance, contract negotiations, client relations, budget, schedule and trade partner management.

The role serves as the primary client contact and ensures safety and quality compliance, while leading pre-con, execution, and turnover with the project team. Travel to Irving, TX is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering with a minimum of 15+ years GC experience.
• Datacenter project experience $100M+ required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for senior management and client interactions.
• Ability to recruit and build a project team and lead cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of contract terms and profitability factors.

Responsibilities

• Lead project acquisitions and leverage industry contacts to generate leads.
• Participate in RFP processes and contract negotiations.
• Oversee pre-construction activities, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Assemble and lead the project team; manage turnover between Pre-Con and Project Team.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all project phases.
• Monitor project performance and client communications; manage accounts receivable and forecasting.
