Job summary

CBRE in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Data Center/Data Hall Project Manager to lead installation, oversight, and project management of new build data centers onsite in Cedar Rapids, IA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of project experience or 10+ years of mechanical experience without a degree.
• Technical project management or coordination experience in mission-critical or industrial facilities.
• Ability to oversee vendor compliance to construction agreements and manage project budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work with Contractors/A&E design team to establish Master Project Timeline based on Critical Path and milestones.
• Review and assist with technical implementation of Data Hall Systems (hot aisle containment, mechanical cooling, server floor infra, airside & waterside) for hyperscale data centers.
• Support contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations.
• Coordinate design team activities and constructability reviews of project documents.
• Provide/coster estimates with subs and vendors for scope gaps/changes; manage cost/change control including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payments.
• Coordinate owner-direct vendors with supply chain and consultants; ensure safety practices are followed.
• Initiate close-out process and establish close-out documentation (warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals).
