Job summary

CBRE is seeking an Owner’sRep/Senior Project Manager to oversee large, high-profile construction projects for clients in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will be accountable for project delivery, ensuring on-time completion and alignment with drawings and specifications on site.

Join our Construction Management team; relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. The role requires coordinating with Contractors, Vendors, and Cost Advisory groups to optimize budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8–10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, experience plus education will be considered.
• Ability to develop methods beyond existing solutions and solve complex problems.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Suite products (Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure work aligns with drawings and specs.
• Review documentation from Contractors and Vendors, including cost requisitions and subcontracts.
• Prepare project status and risk assessments; manage disbursement schedules and permits.
• Coordinate with cost advisory groups for parameter estimates and quantity take-offs.
• Support contract terms reviews and ensure qualification statements are up to date.
