Job summary

IAPMO is seeking an experienced Field Manager to coordinate mission-critical renovation and upgrade projects in live data center environments. You will lead internal and subcontractor teams, ensure safety, and maintain schedule discipline on-site.

The role requires reading one-line diagrams and P&ID diagrams, coordinating RFIs and submittals, and guiding field crews across electrical, mechanical, structural, and architectural scopes.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of mission-critical and data center construction field management experience; live data center work required.
• Experience leading crews in live data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support internal and subcontractor teams on mission-critical renovation/upgrade projects.
• Maintain a safe working environment and champion safety culture.
• Support project management with planning, schedule management, coordination and closeout.
• Provide technical direction for Trade Partners and field crews in daily activities.
• Provide construction and schedule updates to project management team.
• Assist with client submittals, site logistics plans and as-built documentation.
• Assist with RFIs and maintain log.
• Attend site visits with client and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with estimating and project team to support RFQs and bid submittals.
• Promote positive customer relationships.
• Coordinate site access and badging requests.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
