Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our Data Center Design, Engineering & Construction team. You will lead construction, commissioning, and turnover of data center projects, ensuring uptime and efficient capital use.

The role requires multi-project experience, a strong engineering or construction management background, and the ability to negotiate contracts, manage budgets, schedules, and risks, while collaborating with internal partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience in the construction management industry.
• Knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration.
• Negotiation skills and problem-solving ability.
• Experience on multi-project, mission-critical or data center builds.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Data Center within a campus program.
• Manage the budget associated with the project and schedule; communicate risks.
• Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders as needed.
• Mitigate risk and develop cost savings solutions early in the project.
• Coordinate needs with Procurement/Sourcing and support pre-construction efforts.
• Travel to headquarters and other Meta sites up to 10% as needed.
