Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the Data Center Design, Engineering & Construction team. The role focuses on managing construction, commissioning, and turnover of large-scale data center projects, with emphasis on budget control, scheduling, risk management, and collaboration with GCs and internal teams.

The position requires strong negotiating skills, multi-project experience, and knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in engineering or CM or equivalent work experience.
12+ years in construction management.
Multi-project experience in large-scale construction, mission-critical infra, or data centers.
Knowledge of civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of capital budget management and contract administration.
Negotiation skills and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

Manage construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Data Center within a campus program.
Manage the budget for the project.
Negotiate vendor and contractor contracts and purchase orders as needed.
Coordinate schedules and risks to ensure timely turnovers.
Support pre-construction efforts and promote prefabrication strategies.
Develop cost-saving solutions and identify underruns early.
Collaborate with GC, vendors, and internal partners.
