Job summary

PCL Buildings Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Superintendent to support a national data center business unit.

The role involves leading project teams, coordinating trades, and ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence across multi-site data center projects. The ideal candidate has substantial field supervision experience, strong scheduling and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to develop and execute comprehensive project plans.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree in a related discipline.
• 10 years of progressive field supervision experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry operations and materials.
• Ability to coordinate multiple scopes and lead trades and own forces work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of safety programs and adherence to site plans.
• Direct, coach, and mentor project teams including direct and indirect reports.
• Communicate effectively with trades and ensure quality, productivity, and safety targets are met.
• Collaborate with project manager to develop and maintain schedules and budgets.
• Develop and execute the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and three-week lookahead schedules.
• Maintain project documentation and client relationships.
