Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Commissioning Manager in Houston to oversee pre-commissioning through handover for industrial projects. You will lead staff across disciplines, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and align commissioning activities with contractual and project plans.

The role requires deep technical knowledge, extensive field experience, and the ability to manage complex situations while optimizing project strategy and alternatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of construction management or commissioning experience.
• Mastery of the commissioning process and L0–L5 stages.
• Comprehensive understanding of building systems across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Manage site-specific end-to-end commissioning activities from Level 1 through Level 5 for new or retrofit projects.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations to streamline project delivery and ensure compliance.
• Lead and integrate Start-up and Commissioning schedules into the overall project plan, including testing and inspections.
• Facilitate commissioning meetings and ensure quality control and documentation are in place.
