Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking qualified Commissioning Engineers I–III to oversee multi‑level commissioning of base building systems in data center environments. The role will coordinate testing, documentation, and timely reporting across electrical, mechanical, and BMS platforms.

The position requires collaboration with design engineers, project managers, and contractors, with travel to other sites as needed and potential night/weekend hours to support construction activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of work experience in data center engineering, commissioning, project management, or equivalent.
• Background in CCTV and Access control, network, telecommunications, and/or fire detection/suppression systems.
• Ability to travel to other Data Center locations as required.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all site construction activity and installations with the QTS Development Team to ensure design, installation and testing meet standards.
• Develop comprehensive commissioning plans for Level 1–5 systems including connectivity and building subsystems.
• Conduct thorough commissioning activities ensuring systems are installed, tested, and validated per industry standards and client specs.
• Identify, track, and resolve issues during commissioning; provide feedback to program management for improvement.
• Create and review detailed commissioning documentation, tests, and as‑built records.
