Job summary

CPG seeks an Electrical Commissioning Agent II to lead the commissioning of data center critical systems across US worksites and remote assignments. You will review design packages, develop FAT/IOM documentation, and oversee testing to ensure optimal operation.

Responsibilities include creating test procedures, maintaining logs, and producing comprehensive reports. Travel up to 75% expected; strong written communication and coordination with vendors are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in the engineering field
• A/E experience in complex facilities or mission critical projects is a plus
• Data Center / Mission Critical experience preferred
• Electrical equipment testing in critical facilities environments
• Experience with IEEE/ASHRAE procedures a plus
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and MS Project
• Excellent written and verbal communication; client interaction
• Up to 75% travel

Responsibilities

• Manage projects, plans, specs, and assignments in a multidisciplinary commissioning role
• Adhere to QA/QC processes and procedures
• Lead commissioning meetings; develop SOPs and MOPs; compile commissioning documentation
• Prepare test procedures and reports with limited supervision; maintain logs and checklists
• Write comprehensive reports with recommendations, deficiencies, and manuals
• Review design criteria, specs, drawings, and submittals for commissioning
• Coordinate IEC tests: integrated system testing, load bank testing
• Develop functional tests for electrical distribution, UPS, generators
• Lead external resources; schedule commissioning meetings; participate in coordination meetings
• Interface with clients, vendors, and testing technicians; coordinate across engineering/design teams
• Verify test results and assist with field troubleshooting; operate test equipment like PQAs, PDS analyzers
