Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Project Engineer (Mechanical and/or Electrical) for a full-time remote/travel role. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of data center commissioning experience and must be willing to travel up to 75% for project work. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

You will lead commissioning activities, develop test plans, and coordinate with design teams to ensure mission-critical performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Data Center Commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% for project work, training, and inter-office business (expenses paid).
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning projects within predetermined scope, fee, and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional test plans and execute tests for data center systems.
• Perform construction observations and review contract documents for commissioning.
• Assist in retro-commissioning, energy studies, and design/energy projects for client facilities.
