Accenture is seeking a Data Center / Cloud Lead to own end-to-end delivery and governance of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure within the IMS model. You will act as a hands-on technical lead while providing service ownership and client-facing leadership across Cloud and Data Center towers.

You will oversee AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, drive migrations, design scalable architectures, and ensure secure, cost-effective service delivery aligned with SLAs and client objectives.

The Data Center / Cloud Lead is accountable for the end-to-end delivery, governance, and continuous optimization of hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure services within the Accenture Infrastructure Managed Services (IMS) model. The role owns public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) as well as their integration with on-prem data center environments, ensuring secure, resilient, and cost-effective service delivery aligned to contractual SLAs and client transformation objectives.

This role operates as a hands-on technical lead (player-coach) while also providing service ownership, risk management, and client-facing leadership across the Cloud and Data Center tower.

Key Responsibilities

IMS Service Ownership & Governance

• Own AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI services within the IMS Cloud / Data Center tower, accountable for availability, performance and SLA compliance.
• Establish and maintain service governance, including KPIs, operational metrics, risk registers, and formal escalation management.
• Act as the IMS escalation point for P1/P2 cloud and data center incidents and chronic service risks.

Hands-On Technical Lead

• Directly design, implement, and optimize cloud and hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues (compute, storage, networking, identity, and connectivity).
• Lead cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and data center integration efforts, including landing zones, network connectivity, and shared services.
• Develop and review infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation, and standard patterns to improve reliability and reduce operational toil.
• Validate and approve architecture designs, runbooks, and SOPs for production readiness and reuse across IMS accounts.

Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Strategy

• Define and execute hybrid and multi-cloud strategies, ensuring workload placement aligns with client requirements, risk posture, and cost objectives.
• Support cloud platform rationalization, workload optimization, and avoidance of vendor lock-in.
• Partner with Accenture Security, IAM, and Compliance teams to ensure cloud and data center environments meet security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure enforcement of cloud security controls, network segmentation, identity integration, backup, DR, and resiliency standards.
• Proactively identify and manage delivery, security, and cost risks, escalating through formal IMS governance.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

• Serve as the primary IMS point of contact for cloud and data center discussions with client stakeholders.
• Support client governance forums, QBRs, and service reviews, providing clear insights into service health, risks, and roadmap progress.
• Coordinate with hyperscaler partners and third-party vendors to align roadmaps and resolve platform issues.
