Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead civil/sitework on a major data center project in Mobile, Alabama. You will partner with Superintendents, engineers and trade contractors to drive execution from preconstruction through completion.

The role requires recent data center experience, a strong GC/CM background and proven ability to manage civil packages on large-scale ground-up programs on site in Mobile.

We are working confidentially with a General Contractor delivering a major data center project in the Mobile, Alabama area and are looking to appoint an experienced Civil Project Manager to join the project team.

Recent data center construction experience is essential, along with a strong background managing civil packages for a General Contractor or Construction Manager.

The Role

The Civil Project Manager will take ownership of the civil and sitework scope across the project, working closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, engineers and the wider project leadership team.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing civil and sitework packages from preconstruction through completion

Overseeing earthwork, excavation, grading and site preparation

Managing underground utilities, stormwater and drainage systems

Coordinating roads, paving, concrete and external works

Managing civil subcontractors and trade partners

Reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs and submittals

Managing change orders, procurement and project documentation

Tracking schedules, budgets and package-level progress

Coordinating civil works with structural, MEP and building teams
