Pentair is seeking a Business Development Manager, Data Centers to drive channel-driven growth across data center and digital infrastructure applications in Texas. You will serve as a technical sales consultant for distributors, engineers, and integrators, and develop strategies to penetrate key markets.

This role blends engineering depth with commercial acumen to influence specifying firms, partners, and end-users while expanding new ventures where Pentair can differentiate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).
• 5+ years of channel-distribution or equivalent data center sales experience.
• Proven ability to engage and sell technical solutions to channel partners and engineering clients.
• Experience with data center infrastructure, cooling or thermal management.
• Willingness to travel 50-75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a channel-focused sales strategy for data center and digital infrastructure applications.
• Serve as a technical sales consultant for distributors, engineers, and integrators.
• Identify and penetrate key markets and ventures for Pentair solutions.
• Provide pre-sales engineering support including solution design and application guidance.
• Train and enable channel partners on Pentair's technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, and Business Development.
• Maintain awareness of market trends and competitive offers.
