Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Business Development Manager, Data Centers to drive growth of Pentair solutions in data center applications. You will influence channels including distributors, engineers, and integrators while identifying new ventures and market opportunities.

The role blends engineering expertise with commercial acumen to differentiate Pentair in the data center market and support cross-functional teams in product and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related) highly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience selling through channel distribution models or equivalent in data center market.
• Proven ability to engage and sell technical solutions to channel partners and engineering clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a channel-focused sales strategy for data center and digital infrastructure applications.
• Serve as a technical sales consultant for distributors, engineers, and integrators.
• Identify and penetrate key markets and ventures for Pentair solutions.
• Provide pre-sales engineering support including solution design and application guidance.
• Train and enable channel partners on Company’s technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, and Business Development.
