Job summary

Pentair is seeking a Business Development Manager for Data Centers to grow our channel-led sales and solution selling in data center and digital infrastructure applications. You will guide distributors, engineers, and integrators, shaping markets and partnerships while aligning with product management and R&D.

You will leverage engineering depth with commercial acumen to influence customers and drive new ventures in a rapidly evolving market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related) preferred.
• 5+ years selling via channel distribution or directly to data center customers.
• Proven ability to sell technical solutions to channel partners and engineers.
• Experience with data center infrastructure, cooling or thermal management.
• Experience in new or adjacent market development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a channel-focused sales strategy for data center applications.
• Serve as a technical sales consultant for distributors, engineers, and integrators.
• Identify and penetrate key markets and ventures for Pentair solutions.
• Provide pre-sales engineering support including solution design and guidance.
• Train and enable channel partners on Company’s technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, and Business Development.
