Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Network and Capacity Planner to support Waypoint Trading Solutions infrastructure growth, capacity management, and vendor coordination across data centers. This role aligns space, power, rack, and network resources with business demand.

You will partner with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and colocation providers to drive readiness, contract execution, and project tracking while delivering actionable capacity insights

Qualifications

• Experience in IT industry supporting data center design, data center operations, capacity management, or delivery project management.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network design principles, IP network design concepts, traffic engineering, and equipment capacity planning.
• Experience with data center design, power delivery systems, and capacity management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining Capacity Management Plans for data center power and space, and network switch port availability.
• Build and maintain reporting to support capacity management, infrastructure forecasting, and leadership review.
• Analyze demand trends, sales pipelines, and utilization to forecast capacity exhaustion and recommend augmentations.
• Manage inventory tracking for data center hardware and track lead times for BAU parts.
• Coordinate with Facilities for contract inventories, renewal schedules, and vendor records.
• Support analysis and activities regarding service contract renewals and EOL milestones for network switching infrastructure.
• Support growth initiatives and network expansion activities, including vendor deliverables and site readiness.
• Track infrastructure expansion projects, rack acquisitions, deployment milestones, migration dependencies, and escalation items.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, documentation quality, automation, and reduce handoffs.
