Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Network Capacity Planner to support infrastructure growth, capacity management, and vendor coordination for Waypoint products and services. You will align space, power, rack, PDU, switch port, and colocation resources with business demand.

In this role, you will partner with Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and vendors to ensure readiness, contract execution, and project tracking, while driving reporting and process

Qualifications

• Experience in IT data center capacity management or delivery project management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network design principles and capacity planning.
• Experience with data center design or power delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing Capacity Management Plans for data center power and space.
• Build and maintain reports for capacity management and forecasting.
• Analyze demand and pipelines to forecast capacity exhaustion.
• Manage inventory tracking for data center hardware and switch infra.
• Monitor warehouse min/max for BAU parts and reporting improvements.
• Coordinate with Facilities on contract inventories and renewals.
• Support service contract renewals and EOL milestones for network gear.
• Support growth initiatives and network expansion with vendors.
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Product, Engineering, Ops, Sales.
• Track expansion projects, rack acquisition, switch allocations, milestones.
• Manage Nlyte and Salesforce work orders; document and escalate changes.
• Improve workflows, reporting, automation; reduce handoffs.
• Provide capacity updates, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
