Job summary

Black Box Network Services is seeking a Network Infrastructure Technician to install, test and certify structured and patch panel cabling in a data center environment. Qualifications

• Experience in a data center structured cabling environment.
• Ability to install and test high-speed fiber optic connections.
• Familiarity with safety norms for cabling work.

Responsibilities

• Patching cabling between network equipment and customer’s network.
• Install power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet.
• Install, troubleshoot and de-install network equipment.
• Complete MAC requests within defined service levels.
• Provide infrastructure cabling break-fix services for network infrastructure.
• Perform Level 1 troubleshooting and support carrier testing of circuits.
