Black Box is seeking an Infrastructure Technician I to install and maintain data center cabling in onsite environments. You will build racks and pathways, interpret design drawings, and ensure precise, code-compliant installations while upholding safety and quality standards.

This hands-on role involves working with copper and fiber cabling, testing tools, and collaborating with senior technicians to grow technical skills and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• OSHA-10 preferred (must obtain within 90 days).
• FOA or BICSI certifications are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service, and decommission structured cabling systems including copper and fiber.
• Build and install racks, cable trays, and pathways inside data center environments.
• Interpret drawings and manufacturer standards for precise installations.
• Follow safety policies to maintain an accident-free environment.
