Job summary

LINX is hiring Low Voltage Technicians to build out data center cabling infrastructure in El Paso. Roles span Technician I–III with hourly pay between $20 and $29, depending on level and experience.

Responsibilities include installing, terminating, and testing cabling, building MDF/IDF closets, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Applicants must meet safety and background requirements and be able to work second or third shifts.

Qualifications

• Commercial low voltage installation experience
• Ability to work second or third shift, overtime
• Valid driver's license and transportation
• Criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, fiber, coax)
• Build and maintain MDF/IDF closets
• Troubleshoot on-site cabling issues
• Document installations for compliance and quality
