Salute Inc. in Sandston, VA is seeking a Data Center Facilities Technician to join our team and support rack deployments, structured cabling, and hardware setup in a fast-paced data center environment.

You will work under on-site leadership on projects including rack movements, unloading, staging, and securing equipment, with on-the-job training provided. This hands-on role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a compliance-driven facility.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of how to properly utilize power tools.
• Ability to read and understand cabling maps.
• Ability to work at different heights, in confined spaces, and on different surfaces.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and secure structured cabling according to project specifications.
• Assist with server rack deployments and related hardware setup.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Team Lead in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support quality assurance efforts by adhering to installation standards.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and supervisors.
