Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a highly organized Part-Time Project Manager Assistant to support data center cabling projects in the Umatilla, Oregon area. You will assist the Project Manager with daily tasks, coordinate schedules, and help keep clients and field teams informed.

The role suits someone familiar with telecom or structured cabling and aiming to grow project management skills. The position offers a flexible part-time schedule (15–25 hours/week) with some on-site data center visits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or related coursework in construction/project management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and scheduling of structured cabling projects within live data centers.
• Track project milestones, material deliveries, change orders, and installation progress.
• Maintain organized project documentation including floorplans, cable schedules, RFxs, and as-built records.
• Support communication between field technicians, vendors, and clients to ensure timely updates and task alignment.
• Help prepare project status reports, billing documentation, and closeout packages.
• Coordinate site walk-throughs, daily reports, and punch lists as directed by the Project Manager.
• Ensure project compliance with customer specifications, company standards, and safety protocols.
• Monitor procurement needs and assist in managing inventory or work orders for cabling materials.
