Job summary

Data Center Frontier LLC seeks a Telecom Project Manager to oversee low-voltage and structured cabling projects in Midlothian, TX. You will manage schedules, budgets, documentation, and client communications, coordinating field teams, vendors, and subs across data center infrastructure.

The role requires on-site leadership, strong problem-solving, and experience with Procore/Bluebeam. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred; RCDD certification is a big plus. Heavy travel expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of telecom project management experience coordinating large-scale projects in structured cabling, low-voltage, data center infrastructure
• Experience working with GCs / general contractors, data center owners / operators, subs, vendors, and project stakeholders
• Experience managing projects within active data center environments
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and technical documentation for cabling related to Telecom, Security, BAS, EPMS
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, procurement, documentation, change management, and closeout knowledge

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of low-voltage, structured cabling, fiber optic, telecom, and data center infrastructure projects from kickoff to closeout
• Manage day-to-day project execution ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery
• Maintain an active field presence and participate in project meetings and on-site activities
• Coordinate field teams, subs, vendors, and clients ensuring access to drawings, materials, and resources
• Develop and manage project schedules, identify delays, and implement recovery plans
• Liaise with client, GC, engineering/design teams, vendors, and subcontractors to align with requirements
• Ensure installation, testing, commissioning, turnover, and customer deadlines are achieved
• Own project controls including labor hours, costs, and forecasted costs
• Track expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and cost projections
• Identify, price, and track scope changes and change-orders
• Review drawings and specs to ensure scope alignment
• Document activity in Procore or Bluebeam for project tracking
• Resolve issues impacting schedule, cost, quality, safety, or customer satisfaction
• Support commissioning activities for Telecom, Security, BAS, and EPMS systems
