Job summary

Iron Systems, Inc is seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate day-to-day low-voltage cabling execution in data center builds. You will work with field crews, testing teams, network groups, and site leadership to ensure work is safe, accurate, and compliant with project standards.

Role emphasizes labeling, patching, testing readiness, and documentation, with a focus on preventing defects and maintaining schedule alignment on active sites.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years in low-voltage, structured cabling or data center infra.
• 5+ years field coordination with hands-on cabling experience.
• Experience in data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution for copper and fiber cabling routing, dressing, and installation quality.
• Ensure bend radius, tension, bundle size, and cable presentation meet standards.
• Own labeling and verification for cables, panels, ports, and records.
• Coordinate patching activities, ensuring correct port mapping and patch records.
• Support testing readiness; ensure endpoints are verified and testers have info.
• Track defects, coordinate remediation, and support retesting until closure.
• Perform in-process quality checks for pinched cables, mislabels, and dress issues.
• Maintain daily progress, turnover-ready documentation, and redline records.
• Coordinate with TPM2/site leadership and other teams to remove blockers.
• Promote safety, housekeeping, tool control, and site compliance onsite.
