Job summary

AFL is seeking a Lead Cable Tech/Foreman to oversee the installation of connectivity solutions at data center sites. The role requires leading teams, reading wiring diagrams, and ensuring high‑quality workmanship aligned with AFL standards.

You will install and test low‑voltage cabling and fiber, supervise 3–5 technicians, and coordinate with Project Managers to meet schedules and safety requirements. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ data cabling experience.
• BICSI Install I or Installer II preferred.
• Ability to install, terminate & test low voltage cables and fiber.
• Strong understanding of low voltage infrastructure and related services.
• Pass pre-employment screening and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of 3–5 Technicians and Installers to complete project tasks.
• Follow AFL safety policies and client site rules.
• Install, terminate and test low‑voltage cabling and fiber optics.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, drawings, and cut sheets.
• Conduct site walks with the Project Manager and report progress.
