Responsibilities:

The Structured Cabling Technician will install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling systems in new construction and active facilities. They will read and follow project drawings, specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and installation standards, ensuring safe and efficient installation or decommissioning of critical cabling and network infrastructure in a Data Center environment. Prioritizing safety, technicians will adhere to Safe Work Practices to maintain a zero-accident record. Providing excellent customer service and meeting project expectations are essential.

• Follow instructions carefully and attentively.
• Work effectively in a team, mentoring less experienced technicians.
• Ability to distinguish colors accurately.
• Knowledge of safe use of basic hand tools for telecom and construction.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 0-5+ years of experience.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred, to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• First Aid/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Fiber Optic Association Certifications preferred.
• BICSI Technical Certifications preferred.
