Job summary

PSG GROUP LLC in Lordstown, Ohio, seeks a Business Development Manager – Data Centers to drive pursuit of national data center projects with extensive travel. Based on a strong foundation in BD, you will identify opportunities, build relationships, and lead competitive bidding across the US.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage a robust CRM, and conduct market analyses to position PSG competitively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4–6 years in business development, sales or project pursuit in construction, engineering or data centers.
• Proven bid-winning track record in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of US data center market (hyperscale, colocation, AI facilities).
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with C-level stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
• Willingness to travel extensively (50–70% domestic).

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and build relationships with data center owners/operators.
• Lead site assessments and manage competitive bidding for professional services contracts.
• Develop and maintain a robust CRM pipeline and track opportunities from identification to award.
• Analyze power availability, land constraints, AI demand, regulatory changes, and competition.
• Coordinate cross-functional pursuit teams to develop winning strategies and deliverables.
• Travel across the United States to meet clients and support pursuits.
