Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Building Engineer for Bothell, WA, to deliver best practice data center systems and resolve issues across electrical and mechanical infrastructure. The role operates on a nights schedule (10 hrs).

You will monitor HVAC, UPS, generators, and fire/life safety, while handling CMMS work orders and vendor coordination. Required: 2+ years in data centers, knowledge of UPS/generators/switchgear, and strong communication; proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with building systems, including UPS, emergency generators, and switchgears.
• Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Suite and CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance of building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Analyze system operations, determine causes of malfunctions, and take corrective action.
• Learn data center site to manage incidents and events that risk critical systems.
• Manage work orders, CMMS, vendor management, and customer-facing tickets.
• Follow emergency escalation procedures and perform additional duties as required.
