Job summary

Black Box is seeking a Data Center Operations Project Manager to lead the construction of a landmark data center in the United States. You will oversee field operations, schedules, budgets, and safety, coordinating with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver on time and within scope.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on management of complex contracts, with travel as needed to sites and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in construction/project management with data center focus.
• Experience with GMP, design build, and fixed price contracts.
• Proven leadership and ability to manage large teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center field operations prioritizing safety and culture.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Oversee project execution ensuring scope, timeline, and budget alignment.
• Identify and manage change events with best practices for change management.
• Communicate project status, risks, and priorities to stakeholders.
