Job summary

CBRE | DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, seeks a Foreman to lead on-site network infrastructure and cabling projects. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with Field Engineers, and adherence to safety and customer standards.

You will report to the Project Manager, monitor milestones, manage labor, and ensure quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced data center environment. Experience reading drawings and managing large builds is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in installation of standard cabling technologies and rack infrastructure.
• Ability to lead multiple crews and manage time effectively.
• Forecast manpower and labor units for large builds.
• Read/understand drawings, port maps and blueprints.
• Certified cabling test technician (CFTT) or Certified Fiber Installer (CFI) or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and clear communication skills.
• Understand local install standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the onsite Project Manager.
• Coordinate with Field Engineers and other trade contractors.
• Manage and control labor on assigned projects.
• Oversee site safety conditions and QAQC on completed work.
• Monitor milestones, productivity, and delivery.
• Attend customer design/build review meetings if required.
• Ensure compliance with customer rules and processes.
