Job summary

The Archetype Strategy is seeking an experienced Data Center Foreman to lead structured cabling and infrastructure installation projects in Virginia. This role requires a hands-on leader who supervises crews and maintains high quality standards in mission-critical data centers.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of cabling experience and proven leadership skills in live data center environments, ensuring safety and productivity throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structured cabling/data center experience.
• 2+ years in a foreman or crew lead role.
• Strong knowledge of copper and fiber optic installation practices.
• Experience working in live data center environments.
• Ability to manage crews, timelines, and multiple priorities.

We are seeking an experienced Data Center Foreman to lead structured cabling and infrastructure installation projects in mission-critical environments. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who can supervise crews, maintain high quality standards, and keep projects on schedule in active data centers.

What You’ll Do

Lead and supervise data center technicians on structured cabling projects

Oversee cable pulling, routing, dressing, termination, and testing (copper & fiber)

Read and interpret blueprints, rack elevations, and cable schedules

Coordinate daily work activities and ensure productivity targets are met

Enforce safety standards and conduct job site safety briefings

Ensure installations meet TIA/EIA and company quality standards

Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting

Serve as the on‑site point of contact for project managers and clients

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of structured cabling/data center experience

2+ years in a foreman or crew lead role

Strong knowledge of copper and fiber optic installation practices

Experience working in live data center environments

Ability to manage crews, timelines, and multiple priorities
