Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Boardman, Oregon is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, manage projects, and maintain BMS and EPMS systems across AWS data centers.

You will work with a global controls team to develop new processes and standards, and support on-site commissioning and startup activities. Responsibilities include designing and validating control sequences, developing programming and GUIs, and coordinating with stakeholders to meet scope, schedule, and budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of controls experience in critical environment (data center, etc.) or 8 years without a degree.
• 2 years of general project or vendor management experience (RFPs, bidding, change orders, QCs).

Responsibilities

• Train and assist internal customers with BMS/EPMS configuration, validation and operation.
• Provide technical assistance and support during life cycle of the data center.
• Develop scope, schedule, budget, and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finance and execution of BMS/EPMS improvements.
• Support procurement activities including RFIs/RFPs and vendor proposals.
• Participate in on-call schedule for BMS/EPMS support.
• Assist commissioning activities and review SOO feedback.
• Develop/modify controls logic programming and GUIs.
