Black & White Engineering is seeking a BIM Manager – Data Centers in Tampa, FL. You will lead BIM delivery on fast-paced data center projects, coordinating Revit/AutoCAD work, BEP development, and QA to meet client requirements.

In this role you will mentor staff, align BIM information with design programs, and collaborate with global hubs to ensure consistent standards across offices. A strong background in MEP and U.S. codes is essential.

Qualifications

5 years of industry experience.
Proven experience leading BIM teams and coordinating BIM delivery within multidisciplinary project teams.
Strong understanding of project delivery, resource planning, and design coordination processes.
Strong technical background in MEP engineering and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, building systems, and applicable codes and regulations.
Experience developing or implementing BIM Execution Plans and managing information delivery requirements.
Ability to assess BIM information against agreed standards and manage review, approval, and acceptance workflows.
Strong communication and leadership skills across offices.

Responsabilités

Develop and maintain the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) aligned with project objectives and client EIR.
Review, accept, or reject Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs) against agreed requirements.
Coordinate BIM resources, responsibilities, and delivery milestones with project teams and the Global Design Hub.
Identify risks to BIM delivery and escalations issues early.
Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination with engineering teams, project managers, and external partners.
Monitor information delivery milestones, status codes, and approval workflows.
Coordinate interfaces between project teams and the Global Design Hub to support predictable delivery and reduce coordination risk.
Serve as the primary client contact for BIM information requirements, coordination, and delivery status.
Apply company BIM standards, workflows, and protocols consistently at project level.
Review BIM information for compliance with client requirements and applicable MEP and building systems standards.
Challenge, reject, or delay acceptance of noncompliant BIM information within the role’s authority.
Monitor and report compliance to BIM and project leadership, maintaining clear records of reviews and acceptance decisions.
Provide day-to-day guidance and technical leadership to project BIM staff.
Monitor productivity and technical quality, coordinating resource needs with project and Global Design Hub teams.
Mentor junior staff and support their integration into delivery teams.
Contribute to performance reviews, development planning, and the retention of capable BIM staff.
Work alongside the Project Design Manager to align BIM information delivery with the overall design program.
Monitor workflows, identify delivery issues, and recommend improvements to project and BIM leadership.
Provide delivery feedback to Regional and Global BIM Leadership, which retains responsibility for regional and global standards, tools, workflows, and strategy.
