Job summary

Lee Mechanical is seeking a BAS Assistant Project Manager to support planning and execution of building automation and temperature-control projects. The role collaborates with project leadership, engineering, field technicians, vendors and customers to drive successful project delivery.

Primarily onsite at Southeast Wisconsin data center projects, the position emphasizes safety, documentation and coordination, with a clear path toward BAS Project Manager as you gain responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction project coordination or related education.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work onsite.
• Willingness to work primarily onsite at data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Support BAS project planning and execution.
• Coordinate project schedules and field activities.
• Review drawings, specs, and controls sequences.
• Coordinate material procurement and deliveries.
• Track equipment and project documentation.
• Prepare and track RFIs and submittals.
• Assist with change orders.
• Track budgets, costs, and labor.
• Coordinate field technicians, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Attend project meetings.
• Support commissioning, startup, turnover.
• Assist with punch lists and project closeout.
