Job summary

Lee Mechanical is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for BAS and controls-focused projects, primarily onsite at Southeast Wisconsin data centers. You will work with project leadership, engineering, field technicians, vendors and customers to advance toward broader management responsibilities.

The role emphasizes coordinating schedules, reviewing drawings, managing procurement, and tracking budget and documentation while ensuring safety and quality on complex data center assignments.

Qualifications

• Construction or project coordination experience or relevant education.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Ability to read construction drawings/specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work regularly onsite.

Responsibilities

• Support BAS project planning and execution.
• Coordinate project schedules and field activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and controls sequences.
• Coordinate material procurement and deliveries.
• Track equipment and project documentation.
• Prepare and track RFIs and submittals.
• Assist with change-order documentation.
• Track budgets, costs and labor.
• Coordinate field technicians, vendors and subcontractors.
• Attend project meetings.
• Support commissioning, startup and turnover.
• Assist with punch lists and project closeout.
