Job summary

Knobelsdorff Electric Inc. (KE) is seeking an Automation Project Manager to lead data center automation and controls projects from kickoff through commissioning and handover. You’ll translate requirements into execution plans and coordinate engineering, procurement, commissioning teams, and partners.

In this role you’ll drive safety, quality, and schedule, manage budgets, and build strong client relationships while traveling up to 30% to project sites and customers.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience managing data center, critical infrastructure, building automation, controls, or mission-critical projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer/Industrial Automation, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• PMP certification preferred; willingness to travel up to 20-30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of data center automation and controls projects from kickoff through commissioning and handover.
• Serve as the primary technical project leader for owners, operators, and partners.
• Coordinate engineering resources, procurement activities, subcontractors, and commissioning teams.
