Job summary

Walsh Group in Mount Pleasant, WI seeks an Assistant Project Manager for our Data Center Group to help lead large-scale MEP efforts from preconstruction through commissioning. You will coordinate design development, BIM/clash detection, and procurement, while tracking budgets and schedules, supporting safety, QA/QC, and turnover documentation.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience managing MEP scopes on complex projects and a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
3–5 years of experience managing MEP scopes on complex projects.
Experience with electrical distribution systems and mechanical cooling infrastructure.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-reliability environments.
Experience with commissioning and integrated testing.

Responsibilities

Support management of MEP scopes on large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through commissioning.
Coordinate design development, constructability reviews, and BIM/clash detection processes.
Assist in subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, contract administration, and performance tracking.
Track budgets, cost reports, change management, and documentation for MEP scopes.
Participate in commissioning planning, functional testing, and integrated systems testing activities.
