Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking an MEP Project Manager for its Data Center Group in Mount Pleasant, WI. You will lead all MEP scopes, coordinate design development, constructability reviews, and clash detection, and oversee commissioning and turnover for mission-critical data center projects.

You will manage schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance while ensuring safety, QA/QC, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience managing MEP scopes on complex projects (data centers preferred).
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, mechanical cooling, and redundancy architectures.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-reliability environments.
Experience with commissioning, IST, and turnkey turnover.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all MEP scopes for large-scale data center projects from preconstruction through turnover.
Coordinate design development, constructability reviews, and clash detection with design teams and trade partners.
Oversee installation of critical systems including power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, and BMS/EPMS.
Manage MEP schedules, phasing, and work sequencing to align with milestones and commissioning.
Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and performance management.
Drive QA/QC, safety, and compliance with mission-critical standards.
Monitor budgets, cost forecasting, change management, and value engineering for MEP scopes.
Coordinate owner training, O&M manuals, as-builts, and closeout documentation.
