Job summary

TensorWave is seeking a Data Center RMA /Inventory Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of hardware assets within a high‑tech data center environment. You will ensure accurate stock levels, maintain DCIM/ERP records, and lead audits to achieve 100% asset accuracy while coordinating with vendors for RMAs.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory or logistics, familiarity with DCIM tools, and the ability to work a 24/7 schedule in a loud, climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in inventory management or data center operations.
• Strong understanding of shipping/receiving procedures and RMA workflows.
• Ability to identify CPUs, DIMMs, SFP types, Fiber connectors.
• Proficiency with inventory software and ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Stock Control: maintain a precise inventory of spares and hardware assets.
• DCIM Accuracy: update DCIM and ERP systems in real time as assets move.
• Audit Leadership: conduct weekly and monthly physical audits of inventory cage and data center floor.
• Procurement Support: monitor par levels and alert when stock reaches reorder points.
• End-to-End RMA: initiate and track RMAs with vendors (Dell, HPE, Cisco, Arista).
• Defective Media Handling: manage secure handling and tracking of failed storage media.
