Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to lead DEC teams across multiple data center projects. You will manage 8–10 direct reports and coordinate with Safety, QAQC, and Project Controls to deliver on-time, within-budget outcomes.

Significant travel (50%+) across regions is expected as you build strong internal and external partnerships. The role emphasizes leadership, complex contract negotiations, and strategic process optimization within a fast-growing, highly technical

Qualifications

Experience leading New Builds, retrofits, techmods, and site-based DEC teams.
Clear, concise communications to Area Manager and broader org about delivery impacts.
Monitor project KPI to ensure health of team and project.
Provide leadership to site teams and model Meta's culture.
Support contract and change order negotiations; prepare for CCAM.
Review/advise on contracts and change orders beyond signing authority.
Coordinate with other Area Construction Managers for consistency.

Responsibilities

Oversee New Build, Land Ready, and Construction Ready sites; support preconstruction.
Lead onboarding of new hires within the Area and assist recruitment decisions.
Develop relationships with stakeholders to optimize processes and strategy across Areas.
Provide rapid feedback to support continuous improvement of projects and partners.
Drive execution and collaboration across matrixed DEC organization.
Other duties as assigned by the Area Manager.
